Connecting Communities, Protecting Children. AtRecess is a social media app that aims to bolster real-world connections and bring communities together.

Members are organized by "Circles", which organize people based on how they're connected in real life. Circles could be for Family, Friends, Classrooms, Sports Teams, Gaming buddies, or any other type of community. Circles are a versatile tool which can be used as a:
-People Directory to easily contact people relevant to you or your mutuals. (IE. A parent needs to contact their child's friend's parents).
-A social media feed to post about your life or organization, comment on other posts, and schedule events.
-An in-app scheduling tool for hosting meetups and events.
-Group chat.

Parents are offered a variety of features to foster their child's activity on the app. These include:
-Minimally invasive AI content flagging model,
-Peek-a-boo feature to view child activity.
-Screen time monitoring and restrictions.
-Parents will be asked for consent before their child joins a new circle.

-All users are verified through Plaid identity verification.
-Full messaging platform.
-Networking tools to interact with other parents.
