IDBI Bank Soft Token

OTP generated through this application is an alternative to SMS OTP, for authenticating transactions/requests in IDBI Net Banking. It enables you to generate OTP from mobile based application in lieu of SMS OTP sent by Bank on registered mobile number. This option eliminates the need to have mobile coverage, non-receipt or delayed delivery of SMS OTP. It is a convenient way of generating OTP instead of waiting for the SMS OTP. In order to use the facility, you need to complete the registration process. You need to login to internet banking and request for soft token registration. The registration option is available in the My Profile section under “Security” tab named as “Soft Token Registration”. Upon submitting the registration request, you will receive activation code through SMS. If activation code is not received, you can also regenerate using “Soft Token Activation Code Regeneration” option in net banking . Once you receive the activation code, you can complete the activation process of this application on your mobile by providing details such as customer ID and internet banking login id.

Upon submission and verification of user details, activation to IDBI Soft Token will be completed. Now you can start using soft token based OTP for authorizing financial transactions/ requests.

Benefits:

· The OTP generated is offline. Hence there is no need to be on mobile network.

· No need to wait for OTP sent over SMS.

Important Instructions:

· You need to register for availing this service. Kindly initiate registration process from net banking.

· You will need activation code, Customer ID and login details to enable net banking channel.

· Select SIM having registered mobile number for activation process.

· Every time you need to provide Pass code to generate Soft Token Based OTP from APP.

· In case you forget the pass code, Please re-initiate the activation process.
